Bringing Home Doggie?

Ever since I was a little child I've always wanted a dog almost all my friends had dogs. One day one of my friends said they were getting a dog from the Franklin County Dog Shelter they brought home their wonderful dog and I started to get more and more agitated that our familly did not have a dog so I started looking at dogs from www.dogster.com I was looking at chinese crested they are a hairless type of dog the reason why I was looking at those breeds was because I am allergic to dogs that have hair I looked at some of the dogs but most of them were not close to us at all they were all in different states and all over the country mom did not want to drive that far just to get a dog so I started to work harder to find a dog I looked at all of the counties around us but none had Chinese Cresteds I started to loose hope but until my mom told me to look at the website www.akc.org and told me to type in dogs that allergic people can have we found a whole list of dogs that an allergic person could have including a poodle so we started to look at the dogs that were on the list none of them looked very good to me so I decided I liked the poodles best we looked at the Franklin County Dog Shelter for poodles we found two very handsome poodles one was Elvis and the other Henry I really likes Henry not noticing Elvis so I called the Franklin County Dog Shelter about Henry they told me that someone already had two holds on him which means someone was going to buy him before us so then my mom just suggested that we go to the Franklin County Dog Shelter and I agreed so I ate and Me my Step-sis Samantha and my Mom went to the Dog Shelter we went through two wards there looking for either Elvis or Henry did not find them in the two wards that we looked in but then when we got to the last ward we saw Elvis sleeping peacfully in his crate we wrote down his cage number and then looked for Henry turns out Henry was right next to Elvis' crate but he wasn't there we figured that someone else had already bought him so when we got out of the room where all the wards were we asked what we should do next when we wanted to see a dog he said we had to grap a clipboard and fill out the information on the sheet when we got done we brought it back up to the people that took the information sheets mom forgot to do the back of the sheet so we had to sit back down and do the back side finally when mom was done we brought it back up and the people took it from us they looked at it and then told us to sit back down and they said they would bring the dog to us it was about 30min but once we got to see Elvis it was great he was a little bit shy at first but once we gave him little doggie treats she left for us it was better when the lady came back to check on us she asked if we would like to take him mom had a few questions but everything seemed alright soon it was time to put Elvis away but this time we were going to keep Elvis they got him all cleaned up and they fed him and then brought him back out to us to tell us about his medicine it didn't seem hard to do but there was a lot of medicine once the kind lady was done talking to us we left the shelter with Elvis in our hands we got in the car and mom put him in my lap he laid there for a long time without moving we drove up to petco to get him something to eat a toy etc. since the people at the shelter told us not to give him hard food because he just got some teeth extractions we got him duck and potatoe formula food which he seemed to like and then mom got him a comfy bed and I picked out some toys and treats Elvis also saw another dog in petco he dashed for trying to knock the big dog over Elvis lost by pooping himself in front of the whole store we also saw a chinese crested it was beautiful once we were done with our adventure at petco we went home where Elvis could meet his new family.
