Visiting Grandma
Elvis now has a new Grandma that we visited on his second day at our house first he didn't know what to do there but he just followed my mom around he threw up a couple times at my grandmas but she really didn't mind she knew he was having some problems anyway our grandma seems to love him like a grandchild just like me my brother and my sister Elvis seems to like her too!
Medication
Like I said the kennel isn't the best place for a dog to stay so Elvis had a lot of medication i'll start with his ears first his ears were very infected so he had some eardrops two drops in the morning and two drops in the evening, Next i'll go to the mouth Elvis had to have a pill in his food evening and in the morning and then he had a syringe that we had to put in his food every evening the syringe and the pill were making him throw up a lot and if you red my paragraph on weird noises you would know what a joy it was to clean up his throw up.
Weird Noises
When we got Elvis he was in a kennel which isnt a very good place for a dog to stay so when we brought him home he was making puking sounds he would make these sounds at least 20 times a day and most of the time he would throw up it was disgusting it wasnt easy to clean up either it was watery and gross one time he had to sleep in our room he threw up all over our carpet it was disgusting and I had to clean it up all by myself because my sister wouldn't help she just sat on her bed and watched me clean up his nasty watery chunky puke but it wasn't all that bad it didn't take that long plus im the one who wanted a dog anyway!
When He First Comes Home!
When we first brought him home I already told you that we introduced him to the family but once that was over we brought him upstairs to see what he would do first he was so curious he looked around alot it was crazy and then he started to follow all of us around we figured that he didn't know what to do yet and then my neighbor and friend came over to greet our new dog Elvis really liked my friend Jordan and then we had to feed him and give him his medication once that was done we waited 3omins and then we took Elvis outside to go potty and take him for a walk he did very well on his walk and then my friend Jordan had to go home for the night after she went home we brought Elvis back in for the night he slept in his bed all night long peacfully and quietly.

Meeting the Family
When we got home we had to introduce Elvis to the family first we let Elvis meet Corey, Corey did not want a dog so he said he would not help with anything about him. Then Jack Elvis did not like Jack at first but hes getting better everyday. Elvis seemed to get along with Me and my Mom and Samantha really well. Our or most of the family loves him.
Bringing Home Doggie?
Ever since I was a little child I've always wanted a dog almost all my friends had dogs. One day one of my friends said they were getting a dog from the Franklin County Dog Shelter they brought home their wonderful dog and I started to get more and more agitated that our familly did not have a dog so I started looking at dogs from www.dogster.com I was looking at chinese crested they are a hairless type of dog the reason why I was looking at those breeds was because I am allergic to dogs that have hair I looked at some of the dogs but most of them were not close to us at all they were all in different states and all over the country mom did not want to drive that far just to get a dog so I started to work harder to find a dog I looked at all of the counties around us but none had Chinese Cresteds I started to loose hope but until my mom told me to look at the website www.akc.org and told me to type in dogs that allergic people can have we found a whole list of dogs that an allergic person could have including a poodle so we started to look at the dogs that were on the list none of them looked very good to me so I decided I liked the poodles best we looked at the Franklin County Dog Shelter for poodles we found two very handsome poodles one was Elvis and the other Henry I really likes Henry not noticing Elvis so I called the Franklin County Dog Shelter about Henry they told me that someone already had two holds on him which means someone was going to buy him before us so then my mom just suggested that we go to the Franklin County Dog Shelter and I agreed so I ate and Me my Step-sis Samantha and my Mom went to the Dog Shelter we went through two wards there looking for either Elvis or Henry did not find them in the two wards that we looked in but then when we got to the last ward we saw Elvis sleeping peacfully in his crate we wrote down his cage number and then looked for Henry turns out Henry was right next to Elvis' crate but he wasn't there we figured that someone else had already bought him so when we got out of the room where all the wards were we asked what we should do next when we wanted to see a dog he said we had to grap a clipboard and fill out the information on the sheet when we got done we brought it back up to the people that took the information sheets mom forgot to do the back of the sheet so we had to sit back down and do the back side finally when mom was done we brought it back up and the people took it from us they looked at it and then told us to sit back down and they said they would bring the dog to us it was about 30min but once we got to see Elvis it was great he was a little bit shy at first but once we gave him little doggie treats she left for us it was better when the lady came back to check on us she asked if we would like to take him mom had a few questions but everything seemed alright soon it was time to put Elvis away but this time we were going to keep Elvis they got him all cleaned up and they fed him and then brought him back out to us to tell us about his medicine it didn't seem hard to do but there was a lot of medicine once the kind lady was done talking to us we left the shelter with Elvis in our hands we got in the car and mom put him in my lap he laid there for a long time without moving we drove up to petco to get him something to eat a toy etc. since the people at the shelter told us not to give him hard food because he just got some teeth extractions we got him duck and potatoe formula food which he seemed to like and then mom got him a comfy bed and I picked out some toys and treats Elvis also saw another dog in petco he dashed for trying to knock the big dog over Elvis lost by pooping himself in front of the whole store we also saw a chinese crested it was beautiful once we were done with our adventure at petco we went home where Elvis could meet his new family.
